I expected a talk where Silex was taken apart into different Symfony components and the talk was exactly that. I was interested in the general structure of microframeworks and the talk showed a good part of it. However, Igor jumped a bit from one topic onto the other, making it quite hard to follow. Given the difficulties of a live demo, it's four thumbs up.
This talk was a great introduction to what goes on behind the scenes diring sorting and what sorting methodologies are out there. Rowan did a great job of explaining how each worked, and seeing code samples plus live sorting was very helpful. One thing that may be neat would be to have the live sorting display the code it was executing at each step so you could walk through the code and the live results at the same time. Admittedly, this would be tough to fit on a single slide.
Nice presentation and introduction to the concepts and benefits of unit testing. The idea of pairing up for the hacking session was good, but also difficult as each developer has his own set of tools, configurations, keyboard layouts etc...
In all, a great talk and some interesting concepts to improve on
Nice talk. The content was good and intresting but I not always could understand Hugo cause of his French Accent and looks some nervous to me.
Anyway good job!
Excellent overview of PHP libraries, saw some new stuff that I'm sure to be using in the future.
Nice talk. Really enjoyed the dynamic visualizations. Wished they had a few more elements in the array though, to better show how the algorithm goes through it.
WINNING keynote *again*. I'd seen it before, but it was still good.
I didn't think anyone could get me to gain a basic understanding of sorting algorithms. Rowan did.
Good voice, good pacing. In contrast with what he told us, he seems to have a very complete grasp of how his stuff works.
Great tutorial, I had learn a lot of information in ZF2, realy thanks you guys
Good entertaining keynote to kickoff the conference. Recognisable as well :)
