Great talk. Easy to follow examples that trigger me to try at least some of these techniques/work-flows myself.
You have a pleasant style of presenting, sure hope you will be back next year!
Loved the talk contents, but it ended up being a bit rushed. I know that this is usually a bit hard to do, but I strongly suggest adding more real-world examples, considering the type of crowd.
Good talk. Well structured. A got a good idea of what I can do with Prediction.io.
As already mentioned, English should improve a little to make the presentation perfect.
I'm sorry, but what was that...? Messages from movies in the context of IT projects were obvious, but I would like to see them only as comments to some talk topics, not as the core content.
Speaker knowledge and message is always more interesting than any movie I can watch anytime & anywhere.
Nice idea for the theme, but I agree with @Thijs - it would be good to mention that this is a beginner talk. Also you should work on the voice tone and possibly gesticulation.
Talk was very consistent with abstract, I expected exactly this kind of content and technical level. If I can suggest anything to improve this talk, small live-demo with producer and different consumers on the same topic should be great.
What can I say more? Laser tag from bumper cars could be nice idea ;)
Very interesting talk, because it was based on speaker experience from many real-life projects. Extra points for providing to us informations about "why we should be careful" in some situations, because ES/CQRS is not the silver-bullet for every problem. Speakers skills on very high level.
Well done, Michiel!
I had very high expectations about this talk. After all, content was really interesting, a lot of OO problems and solutions have been presented on stage. What is most important for me, Matthias delivered few things which must be investigated on my own.
Speakers skills? Excellent, 10/10. Social skills, excellent as well, 10/10.
Yep, you did it again, like I didn't question enough things in life.
I might need this presentation every four weeks or so...
