Really interesting talk, some good (if not contentious) ideas, will be implementing some on my own projects.

Fantastic talk, practical, pragmatic, and very funny. And the development of the code standards generator tool looks like a huge gift to php.

Sunday at 9 is not a great slot after a social the previous evening, but John was witty and engaging throughout, and managed to be what could be a rather dry and fluffy subject entertaining and practical. Excellent talk.

Really good introduction, well delivered talk. It'd be great to have some hints about what some of the 'advanced' issues are (and where to read about them/find out more) as a penultimate slide would be really helpful (that probably applies to most of the talks).

Excellent talk, good demonstrations of principles, and a lively and engaging presentation style.

First time I'd seen this talk and very glad I did - funny, provocative and informative.

Great, enthusiastic talk made highly relevant to the audience by the example. Looking forward to trying out the platform

From never having heard of Guzzle I felt I could pick it up and start playing with it pretty quickly by the end of the talk. Good examples seemed to cover a lot of ground without getting dull/repetitive/just too much.

One thing I've heard somewhere is that slide titles should be the punchline of that slide (like a good class/method name, perhaps) - then the actual slide content shows the how and why.

Funny, engaging and thought provoking. This guys a real english @ircmaxell - apparently.

Good opening, and was really nicely balanced by the closing talk. The split room worked for me (and impressively brave to try!) and even if the points seem obvious (not sure I do) I think it's important to be reminded/prompted. It's like hearing the same talk twice - mostly you get as much out of the second hearing but different points stick/resonate each time.
