Great talk and speaker to start the day. Wonderful amount of humour and very informative

Volker is an entertaining speaker, with a good manner that makes him easy listening even while he's presenting complex topics, and was presenting an intriguing case study; but it felt a bit like an easy start to the morning... perhaps not enough meat in the content, or perhaps it just lacked some of the passion I've seen in him when speaking about other topics

Really enjoyed this talk. It’s in a weird way good to see code you would normally write displayed on the screen, only to be told there’s a better way. I’ll be looking to implement some of the ideas conveyed in this talk back into my own code.

Very dry talk, more like a lecture. Subject material was interesting though

A very academic lecture without any real substance. Speaker however shows a lot of experience in speaking and is very natural.

Another quality talk with an excellent speaker. Nice introduction to the principles of SOLID, and STUPID was new to me. Really entertaining and plenty to take away from this one.
