Opening keynote was highly funny but still quite informative. Quite liked it.
A great discussion that easily explained SVN, even to people who might have never heard of Version Control ever. After teaching the basics of how to use it, it expanded into best practices, branching patterns, and more.
The pair of speakers complemented each other well to make an entertaining and informative talk.
Only marred by some minor issues with their slidedeck that was often hiding titles of the slides.
A very interesting discussion in the beginning about the history of MVC, and variations on the concept. Ending with a good introduction to how CodeIgniter does MVC.
Matthew and Lorna are both good and charismatic speakers, and though I've been using svn for quite some time, I learned a few interesting things. Excellent workshop!
Sufficient coverage of the basics with practical examples. Was hoping to learn something new, but had seen relatively similar talks in the past (such as Chris Shiflett's Security 2.0 talk) and was disappointed as a result. A bit dry, though saved by an occasional bit of humor. Agree with previous comments: it's a good talk, not a great talk.
I agree with brandon, it was a great primer and review on security but could use a little bit more oomph. Overall, amazing talk that gave me some things to chew on.
Lots of good info but pretty basic stuff that every developer should know. Need that extra oomph. Still, overall a phenomenal talk.
From what I've gleaned from speaking with other developers who attended the meeting, it wasn't quite as all-inclusive as I would have liked. It didn't seem to speak definitively to any decisions that were made, only what matters were considered. Entertaining and informative nonetheless.
