daemon is pronounced like "demon," not "daymon." I cringed every time the presenter said it.

Excellent discussion of how to work and talk and generally interact as a team. Easily a highlight of Tek, for me.

Tim did an excellent job communicating WHY we might want to use PHP for long running daemons and then actually showed us HOW. I was not aware of the internal process control capabilities of the language that can make it fairly elegant to write daemons in this way. Very good.

Good information and presented at a good pace, but I felt like the info graphic format of the presentation made it harder to digest. I would prefer standard slides.

I really enjoyed this talk. All the technical skill we can have is rendered useless by an inability to interact with our teammates. Great job on teaching these principles and skills.
