Great talk. Would recommend for people transitioning from "basic unit tests" to more sophisticated mocking.

Good content but presentation could definitely have used a lot of work. It started with an assumption about what people knew that was inaccurate for many. He did not provide all code in the presentation and left a lot of questions unanswered as he went along.

More examples, please. Also, you know this, but that went way too fast!

Not a lot of context provided

Good mix of antecdotal experience and technical specifications. Best slides in the conference so far. I appreciate the visual representations.

Good talk. Clear explanations. Best part was the example of a poorly-written class. Consider adding more of these along with how one could apply OOP and SOLID principles to remedy them. An expanded glossary might be helpful, depending on the skill level of your audience.

great use cases and relevance to today's issues. Overall lecture was great but some minor points hard to follow.

Clearly you know your stuff. However, the metaphors did not contribute to the learner's understanding of the material - they merely defined the name of the design pattern. Talk could be improved by replacing those with use cases or examples of when a particular pattern would be ideal. Perhaps pose a business porblem and ask learners to choose which pattern to use and why. It isbetter to give people a deeper understanding of a few examples than a shallow awareness of many. We can always go learn the other ones later if we have a solid understanding of why design patterns are important and how to recognize the need for one.

liked the perspective and relevant content...thanks!
