A wonderful tale of Bet’s career progression, framed as a series of happy accidents. Full of nostalgia, humor, and even the “but my mouth said ‘yes’” catchphrase

Beth nailed it! This was a very moving and inspiring talk about how her career developed through her being willing to say "yes" and step outside of her comfort zone. I was especially appreciative of the plug for Open Sourcing Mental Illness at the end of the talk. Thank you so much, Beth!

This was a fantastic presentation and the concept of stewardship is an excellent one for everyone.
I really loved the graphic presentation.

Great insights around ownership vs stewardship and the ephemeral nature of things.

I was hoping for a something a bit more advanced/detailed on how to use docker in various contexts (eg. development, automation, deployment) but this was still a great primer on docker.

This was good for an absolute beginner. Nice overview and the insight to write code that passes tests trivially (eg. a function that just returns true) as part of the process was a bit of an epiphany for me. I would have liked to have seen more material on how implementing TDD affects the rest of the dev process (story writing, grooming, estimation, etc) and I would have preferred a live demo rather than screenshots.

This was a great talk, just wish it had been longer. Looking forward to reviewing the slides.

Great lunch!
