Great introduction to functional programming! Glad David covered pure functions and the use of maps and filters. This talk also covered the awesome power of Laravel collection functions and how we can leverage functional programming with them.

I came to see Margaret’s session to see her brilliant way of presenting and had hopes to learn a thing or two how to apply CI with modern technologies.

First of all I was really amazed how good a speaker Margaret has become. I’ve seen her present talks in the past but it’s clear that she practiced the skill of public speaking very well. She really owned the stage.

Secondly I was surprised to pick up some great ideas that Margaret presented in her slides. So even being a veteran in the field of CI, Margaret has enriched me further with knowledge.

Conclusion: Margaret belongs in the top segment of speakers who has the ability to share knowledge combined with great speaker skills, even bring fun on stage. A job well done!

I loved this talk. I wish everyone session was like this. He did a live demo while explaining it along the way. Excellent job Jordan!

This was definitely awesome and I like it a lot. Machine learning is something super interesting and the example given was very interesting also.

I like the material shared, the examples, and to know about the past too, the differences between the cray-1 hardware functionalities agains PHP functions. Also, it's evident that Ed enjoys giving this talk more than anyone else, he puts passion on it.

I didn't agree with all the points given, but at some point I think that's more depending on the person.

Good comparison of approaches and advantages and disadvantages shown depending on the scenario.

The audio was bad and that was not Michael's fault, but anyway I felt he spoke too low. The presentation and advices were good.

Good experiences and advices learned from implementation.
