Had high expectation on your talk.
This has probably been a great lightning talk, but during 40 min I got depressed with the speed dynamic and the simple topic.
I expected something different from this talk, I thought it was going to be about advanced features of PostgreSQL and it was just a quick overview of some features leaving MANY interesting things out.
Time was limited, no question about it, so with a longer span of time the talk could possibly have been more interesting for people already using PostgreSQL.
Well delivered but perhaps too introductory if you have already used the database in some projects
One of the most original talks I have attended to. It is awesome what these guys have done with good old PHP.
Plus, the Console application they showed is just awesome. And open-sourced for everybody to enjoy
I am personally tired of the same boring introductory talks with 0 risk all over again. Surely they have their audience but original talks like this are what I expect from a supposedly advanced conference.
And you cannot expect to understand what an ANN is and how it works in a 10 minutes review if you have never studied it. Having pictures may have helped but I am not really sure about it. The slides were good enough to me in order to refresh some concepts I learnt in the Coursera lessons some months ago and had forgotten about.

In my opinion, the talk was very well balanced because it introduced the Sylius project nicely, it showed some code samples, it described some of the main project features and it showed "what's next" for this great e-commerce project.
