The presentation was quite good, but I can't shake the feeling that the material has been somewhat stretched to fill the slot. I wish I was able to hear more nitty-gritty details about this topic.
I liked the systematic approach and a gentle pace of the talk. I didn't looked into Elm at all before this talk, so this served as a good intro to the topic.
Very entertaining talk with a bunch of interesting techs mentioned. Perfect closure of the day.
Miro did a great job with this talk! The best talk of the conference for me. Subject, slides, presentation pace, delivery, the language... Everything was superb!
A great keynote that makes you think!
It also makes me want to read everything from Stanis?aw Lem.
Felt like Hannes had a bit of a stage fright, but that didn't affect the overall presentation of the subject for me. Good stuff!
An exceptional talk, right from the trenches, where not everything is super and shiny and pink, but some real world scenarios from a large scale project and how to deal with things when they go wrong.
A nice talk about what awaits us in the land of the managers, but a bit too slow for my taste. 45 minutes seems way too much for this talk.
Good talk, more about hands on experience with Aurora, some day-to-day information, would make the talk even better as it is a relatively new service on AWS.
I quite liked this talk. Contrary to some other reviews, my impression is that oauth served as an example of what can go wrong if we take abstractions for granted, and don't dig a bit deeper. A sin many of us are often guilty of. The talk served as a nice reality check, and I'll probably rewatch it once the video is available.
