Talk comments

I was super excited for this talk. Wanting to build a chatbot was why I became a programmer in the first place.
Sadly, I don't feel as if I learned "how they can benefit me", "how to code for it", or "automating conversations". Some of this could be answered in lengthening the talk, others by expanding the description. For instance, I wish the description had said "we are going to build a very specific chatbot with a very specific set of tools for a very specific set of business reasons (and then have a list of the tools)" We spent the first few minutes of the talk trying to set up the tools and then, if you had a glitch in setup, you might as well put the development aside because the talk wasn't set up as a workshop and you had no hope of going back.

Also, I would love to have the slides. That way I could try again on my own time.

Engaging talk.
Quoting another commenter because it fits my thoughts: Interesting way to present advantages of free and open source software

Very knowledgeable.

Speaker was knowledgeable about his subject. The talk wasn't what I needed, but I'm glad I listened to it.

As a woman, I was super pleased to see this talk be presented by a woman. Although the challenges she described are not limited to women, though some of them were due to our society, I felt the speaker was able to isolate and highlight how being a woman in this situation is different than a man's experience. I appreciated it.

A good basics class. I was introduced to one new tool.

Very informative. I really liked this class and it highlights how "dangerous" licensing can be.

I like this talk and have seen it before.

Although a lot of this information was basic and things I already knew, the presentation was done in an engaging manner. I learned a few things, not as new concepts, but as correct terms for practices I already imply. There was one slide I wanted to screen cap and show my coworker. "See, this is why we normalize our tables!" Thanks for the great talk.
