When Bruce Lee started his own martial art, he took all the best traits from the different flavours of Kung Fu and adapted it, to make his own unique version that suited him best. In this talk, I will draw parallels between software craftmanship and how Bruce Lee approached honing his skill. In the end, I will prove to you that Bruce Lee was, in fact, a software architect.

Easily the best talk I saw at the conference. This talk has great material to reflect on, relating to (probably inspired by) Domain Driven Design. But even if you don't know or maybe don't support those ideas, you can still get some good value by watching this talk. And the bits of Bruce Lee history doesn't hurt either :-)
I did feel a little stupid because of the visible disappointment of the speaker when nobody recognised the pictures of Grace Hopper, Dennis Ritchie OR Edgar Dijkstra. I did recognise Columbo, but somehow that didn't make me feel any better.
I liked the talk. The presentation felt a bit 'unstructured' here and there (or it might be because it was the second day of the conference and almost lunch time ;)). The approach of the talk was really cool, with a lot of Bruce Lee in it :)

Excellent talk, I like the approach the speaker took for this talk and it was very inspiring.
This talk was funny and uplifting, which is pretty much its own reward. Showing the image of the "find X" problem made me very sad about my choice of wardrobe, because I have that very image on a t-shirt and I decided not to wear it. It is great to hear other people re-iterate "take what works, discard the rest" because it's very true and very often forgotten in favor of blind adherence to ideas.

Humorous talk with an interesting vision, Delivery was spot on as well. The only points of criticism I can think of is that the content is not really novel (mostly agile principles in another light). The take-aways are more on an abstract rather than a practical level. In that sense, this talk might do really well as a keynote.
