I doubt that PHP will be anyone's choice of event-driven programming any time soon but the session did cover some hidden gems in PHP's networking abilities. Igor introduced some interesting ideas that I'll be digging into for use in other projects.
And as other said, the presentation was fun and enjoyable.
Great presentation. I haven't followed the evolution of CSS as much as I used to but this was a great way to get back up to speed with the new options.
Very interesting, I didn't even know that there were alternatives to HttpURLConnection. My only advise is to avoid relying on Internet connection (too slow)
Pretty interesting presentation. Very good at getting the audience involved. A bit too fast paced though. I had a hard time keeping up when he kept switching really quickly between the server output, and the client output screens.
Good talk, even for those who needed a refresher on the topic.
Didn't seem fully prepared. Also didn't seem like he even liked Titanium but was trying to convince the audience to try it? Interesting topic if it was presented properly, and if he was awake.
Sorry about the slides, I just published them :) https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1AAJ3V3X0JJUQEAVztwcEe5w74cvIwAN8xasa-Foccq8/pub?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000
Very interesting and well prepared/presented.
