Like someone said previously, this felt a bit like leftovers from Laracon US. I hadn't watched the US talk so I felt like I was missing something. But what covered was really great and impressed at Taylor releasing 5.3 from the venue. :)
The best talk so far, revealed a whole new set of ideas for building a scalable application architecture. Very valuable and extremely well presented with good examples and good Q&A. Thank you.
I liked the part where he deployed a major version from the couch at the venue
Great talk and matches my thoughts about the dev - manager relationship. Unfortunately this audience lacked the presence of the people who really needed to see it; the managers.
It's always good to be reminded not to stay in a toxic relationship, but if we don't make these issues known to the people who are perpetuating the toxicity, we can't solve this issue.
Is any developer going to be confident enough to share this talk with toxic management?!
Really good quality speaker with good content that was well structured and easy to follow. Some nice ideas for easy user research.
So, figuring out real user stories is boring and often lacks context. The solution presented? Comics. An interesting and novel idea but I'm not sure of the actual application possibilities (also Bitstrips is gone), and would have appreciated additional alternative ideas.
Great talk, well spoken and nice examples.
Well done Freek, nice live example. You did not look like a firsttimer. Great way how you've explained the grandfather-father-son by using an image.
Would only recommend to use 'php artisan' instead of your alias in the presentation.
Brilliant talk, nice introduction, very hazardous demo but you done it with success ;)
Congrats for your first talk !!
Really interesting talk! It gave some nice inspiration regarding some of the architectural discussions we seem to keep having in our office. It would be nice with a little time for comparisons, though. How is a Feature different from a command in a command bus, for example?
