My wrists were aching from all the notes I had to make. Although not everyone will agree with all the points made it was a really interesting talk and I took a lot away from it.
Really engaging speaker, great job.
My favourite talk of the day, Hannes showed so much of the container I didn't know and although I am struggling to see use cases right now, it's going to be great fun playing around with contextual binding and container events. I thought this was one of the more technical talks, however it was great to have such a variety to please all the audience, given we all have different levels of exposure to Laravel.
Wish I had this talk presented to me about 6 months ago, before a migration project. Would have made the process 10x easier!
Thanks
So much to take away from this talk, it's going to take me a while to absorb it all and put into practise. Alex clearly loves his AWS, and knows it better than anyone I know.
Your servers are cattle!
Very well delivered and structured talk. Loved the emphasise on writing good APIs, regardless of what you use.
Perfect balance of live coding (very brave) and discussion / learning.
Thanks!
Very impressive talk and best practices for writing APIs.
Very engaging speaker - shame that the time didn't allow for the full content to be delivered.
Potentially add a quick note on Laravel and Multi-tenancy usages? A lot of SaaS needs it, and enterprise definitely use it a lot.
Brilliant engaging talk, so much content I am sure Matt could have gone on for hours. It's a shame he ran out of time but will look out for future versions of this.
Excellent talk and it's great to see the conference have talks that cater to all skill levels. Although I didn't learn too much myself, there were people at the conference with less experience/exposure to Laravel who were able to learn something new in an interesting manner without having to dive through the docs.
