Great tools, discussion and presentation.
Fit exactly what I was looking for. Pragmatic points of view on how to produce quantitative data on code quality. Gave specific tools, how he uses them, and why.
Most of the talk was just reading from the slides. Would have liked to see before-and-after code from the Hack conversion.
Awesome talk. Really good explanation why simple academic object oriented principles are a little misleading. Used a common Employee/Manager problem and explained possible solutions using traits and interfaces. Not an issue with the talk, but slides were unfortunately hard to read due to the projector.
Awesome talk that focuses on the important and often missed features!
Very good talk, information was clear and concise. Some benchmarking data would be very useful to fully realize benefits of using Queues.
Link to slides until we can officially upload them: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ynufynf3cx7jqj5/lonestar2.pptx?dl=0
Cool presentation on Architecting queues.
The overview given at the beginning of the talk could be improved -> A break down of how the presentation was going to be structured would've helped (Contents, Azure, Queue vs. SB, Implementation examples, etc...) Also some stats on messages/second on normal queues vs batch sending. More details on implementation.
Overall it was good. Great to see topics that are unconventional.
Great talk and great examples. Really appreciated having the files up front and they were a vagrant instance to make it easy.
I loved the tips and suggestions on the testing and working with code quality. I look forward to putting some of the ideas into practice as soon as I can.
