Great topic for devs at all stages. As a senior dev already, i got insight on the progress of expectations and responsibilities i need to be aware of. Younger devs may see a glimpse of the need for patience in their path - seniority isn't a linear timeline, and accepting the role is more than just a title to increase your salary/rates.
Great use of slides, stories, and body language to effectively communicate your message. I loved the use of jokes and audience engagement. There was a lot to learn here and I wish at the end there was some more repetition of your most important points or key take-aways. Overall, really effective
Interesting take on developer mindset. It's hard to change the mentality of devs who see the job as just a job and don't consider the cascade effect of their work, but it's always worth it to try.
Really good examples and gradual increase in difficulty level. i'm not sure i agree with adding function parameters specifically used by tests, but i can definitely understand that some legacy situations will demand it, and it DOES introduce a path to refactoring into testable code.

i came to this conference specifically for more exposure to test experts, so i feel lucky i got to attend Chris's final presentation of this talk. What floored me was discovering i'm already doing a lot of the things he recommends, and have taught myself a lot of the deeper challenges and skills devs need for effective tests. 🤯
This and several other talks have boosted my confidence that i'm not completely off the rails in my development knowledge.
Well prepared tutorial code, clearly explained. Quick pace because building rules is still a fairly involved multi-step process, but it becomes clear how powerful the tool can be.
Chris had a great delivery that was entertaining, humorous, and informative. Good life lessons shared and career advice. Loved the grumpy approach that is practical and realistic instead of sugar-coating things. Had the audience laughing and learning, mission accomplished.
Good technical run-down of using composer and packagist. Adam showed https://github.com/adamculp/php-code-quality so I'm excited to go give that a try. Talk ended early, but I felt like that was okay and all the material I was hoping for was covered. Good talk!
This talk was captivating and I'm sure it gave a lot of us food for thought on how our memories work.
