Great refresher! Holy fast, though - pity the ppl not yet familiar.

Great complement to Paul Jones' talk about modernizing legacy applications. Helpful examples using Behat for acceptance/characterization tests to facilitate initial test coverage on legacy code.

Excellent information, well put, quick but with good examples. Great discussion on design patterns and writing clean code!

"Treat objects like APIs"
"There's nothing wrong with a one line method."
Great stuff!

GREAT talk! A lot of very solid and easy-to-implement approaches to software design. I always love a talk that gives you things you can take back to your code an apply almost immediately.

For those curious about the hybrid MySQL/MongoDB application I alluded to, see: http://stackoverflow.com/a/11368517/162228

Kudos to Ross Larson for mentioning it on Twitter.

You have restored my faith in WordPress as something I may want to use as a CMS or even for a full site. The info on using composer was very informative and will push me to maybe get back into some more WordPress sites. Great talk!!!

Good talk, I just started using Vagrant and this will for sure get me moving on it.
