Really appreciated learning about tools for working with Vagrant/Chef/Puppet/Composer. Solid presentation. Thank you!

This was a great talk. I liked that you laid out practical ways for people to starting putting some of these ideas into practice. Thanks!

I enjoyed the overview of the different types of NoSQL, but very early in the presentation I realized the subject matter was a bit above my current level in terms of technical complexity. I'm very interested in MongoDB and will need to explore it a bit further before I catch another one of Derick's presentation - he's clearly very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the technology.

I posted this anonymously so that the rating won't impact Derick's overall score, as I can't reliably rate the presentation given the caveats above.

Wonderful talk! It was very entertaining and had a lot of information I should keep in mind daily. Thank you!

I had high expectations for this presentation after seeing Aaron's standing-room only talk at last year's Midwest PHP conference, and he exceeded them easily. I found myself nodding my head as he introduced each key point, and think that the 7 points he outlined are a great guideline for every developer in the field - particularly points 1 (Learning from everything) and 5 (We are customer service).

Terrific presentation and a great way to kick off day 2.

This talk was a lot of fun. I also took some things away from it. Thanks!

I took so much away from this talk. Thank you for sharing this! WordPress is something that I have a love/hate relationship with. These days I try to stay away from it mostly because it is such a drag to work in. I'd LOVE to be able to try and start a fresh WordPress project with some of these newer tools and ideas in place.

Great overview on CI! So many things to choose from. I also liked the tips on trying to sell testing to clients and project managers.
