The part of the MS guy could have been skipped, especially since Glenn did a much better job at showing what Azure is without being a marketing preso, and the other part... the stereotype of the Italian guy (in the bad sense).
I liked this talk mainly for the irriverent style of Sam, I could call this "The Sam's Show"! :)
IMHO this talk was aimed to put some "spicy" to the conf...

I agree with Gilles! Simply a...great workshop! ;) Thankyou guys!
The arguments against node.js where poor, but the talk was amazing.
The presentation was not engaging, and at some point "boring".
If you need to present some code, show it in the slides.
I'm not a Windows fan, at all! And now, I can finally say that windows has done something right.
I could never think that "The windows guy with a mac" could change my mind.. but he did! And in a fantastic way.
