Great overview of PHP's Package Management. He is a good speaker.

I have been using Larry Ullman books since 2003. The QuickStart and QuickPro book formats teach me quickly. I use them for my students textbooks when I teach at CCV (Community College of Vermont). I have researched other text books - but Larry's examples are the best and he keeps an updated errata page for students using older texts.

It was a treat to have him be my live teacher! He shared how he taught, and how he refined his textbooks.

Definitely one of the highlights of the conference for me!

I have been attending Jen Kramer workshops, classes & conferences for 10 + years. Her talks are high energy, taking complex topics and creating chunks of information that you can use. When I want to understand a topic - I look for her videos on Lynda.com, her books, and her talks/workshops.

I have successfully added to Wikipedia - but it took many tries and about a month - to keep submitting and following the details to submit correctly. It was very nice to hear - that Wikipedia is making this process better. Terry Chay is a dynamic speaker, it was a great energy booster to end the conference on!

As others have noted, Larry is an excellent speaker. He told his story, but also related the lessons he has learned that can help other to create their own stories. Well done.

Wikipedia's tools are in great hands. I'm impressed with the new editor that was demonstrated, and the process they followed to get it done. Terry was engaging and gave good insight into how things I learned at other talks are applied in successful projects.

Great start to the conference. I enjoyed the stats about mobile users and code framework usage. His insights into the future were good.

I use a visual Git client. This talk was exactly what I needed to better understand Git commands and workflow. I'm looking forward to implementing his ideas to improve my change management process.

I learned much about good development practices in this workshop. This was a three hour talk and a short break in the middle might be a good idea. Despite the length of the presentation, every minute was packed with useful information. I appreciated hearing the clean development considerations throughout the entire work process, not just the coding stage.
