Very well spoken. I liked the examples given and the way examples progressed throughout the talk. I would say however that the talk could have been delivered more concisely, leaving room for a bit more on behat perhaps toward the end.

Nils covered a lot. The talk was structured really well and gave useful examples. It did a great job of picking up on things that developers like myself hadn't considered or may have missed. Really beneficial and clearly explained. Thanks Nils

This was a new area for me, and I definitely picked up some things. I couldn't understand everything however and it did feel a little dry in some parts.

Gareth spoke very clearly and gave very useful explanations and examples. Unfortunately, some of the slides were not readable, although Gareth talked around it well.

Samantha is a great storyteller. The keynote took us on a journey, set a scene and was inspiring. Thanks Samantha!

A clearly spoken and structured talk. The in depth example was very useful to my colleagues, although perhaps slow paced if you were familiar with Laravel. There were a lot of 'um's and 'err's, that didn't detract too much from the talk but were noticeable.

Good coverage of the most important properties of events, basic rules on what to do and what not to do. Also covered examples of how event sourcing was used to implement an application the speaker was involved in. Some code and DB examples regarding the structure and handling of the events.
Might be a great material for a hands-on 3-4 hour tutorial on implementing a sample app using event sourcing based on a given applicable domain problem (like banking or accounting).

A good, objective talk, looking at the pros and cons of both PHP and Go, as well as the basics of coding in Go.... but the advice that learning a new language can help us think about how we write our code in PHP is good advice. A well structured and well presented talk.

Well explained step-by-step guide to what is essentially hypothesis-driven-development; looking at how opcode optimisation works; and the need to assess everything based on the edge cases (even the unlikely ones), and not simply on typical usage, to determine whether it is a viable solution; and whether the benefits justify the time and effort required to implement.
While focused on opcache optimisations, the assessment and evaluation principles used could be applied in many normal development situations as well

Loved the historic references, as I remember most of them when they originally happened... and being involved in that original revolution, I love the feeling of taking it forward even further.... an Samantha's talk was a great inspiration to keep pushing the internet forward for the next generation
