Talk comments

I agree with some of the other comments about this feeling more like a tutorial than how to deal with actual best practices. However Eli did cover some important topics that many developers fail to address.

I luckily attended two of Elis presentations, it was spot on for me. A truly knowledgeable speaker with a great sense of humour. Please bring him to London next year, I would like my colleagues to get a chance to listen to him.

Great overview of that's around in vagrant provision world. But there was one fact I was missing, people should use the same provisioner that the live env is using. And not what they would just like more, otherwise it wouldn't even solve the 'works on my machine' thing. Cool slide design btw!

Great talk. Brilliant topic. thanks! Even if I can understand that you were tired, organize that you arrive earlier and come rested :)

Great talk! Very inreresting and well explained.

Well worth attending this talk if only to learn about the usefulness of Charles. Great to hear techniques and tales from someone experienced in grappling with REST APIs. Some things were slightly over explained such as illustrating the cURL arguments, however, which I did feel interrupted the pace a little. I felt bad that no one had any questions at the end but I think that was just because the subject was so well covered.

A fascinating peek "under the hood" at security solutions of the behemoth that is the Facebook source. Ben clearly outlined the reasoning behind various unusual techniques to combat security issues on a large scale platform as he confidently charged through the talk.

Could have done with some more complex caching strategy examples, 50% of the talk was pretty straightforward. But I found the rest of it quite affirming of techniques that I have used already. A well rounded talk aimed at relatively inexperienced cachers!
