I love getting bombarded with quicktips in these area's. Very high tempo and maybe not for the starters in regular expressions, but very good.

Like a lot of others, I would have liked to see a bit more of PHPillow and PHP usage of CouchDB and map-reduce in general. Or maybe the inner workings of PHPillow. I think most of us are past the "introduction to CouchDB/NoSQL" phase by now.

Extremely informative talk. First time I saw real practical use of lambdas and closures.

Awesome talk. Inspiring, engaging and full of great ideas any development team should be applying. Glad to have my CEO in the room, because I could never sell it the way Cal does.

Great inspirational talk, just hope it's all still relevant In the real world once the rose tinted glasses come off on Monday morning ;) As someone who's a C-level developer working all this out it certainly helps to see that there's hope yet!

Great talk. I enjoyed hearing about class mapping and dynamic wsdl generation the most.

I found it very difficult to find, it was a little far from the hotel. A specified time would have helped gauge when to set off from the hotel.

I just got back. Awesome social. Great atmosphere, welcoming people, free beer and bowling. You guys did an excellent job, I cant suggest any improvements!

I've seen a few of Cal's talks now and it was overly clear that he is passionate about this and it showed. He gives solid reasons and examples, while weaving it all in a very pleasant to listen to story driven approach to talks. Cal Evans at his best.

I did feel sorry for project managers at some point. Project managers are people too you know!

I liked the way Ivo started by looking at the hype curve and assessing how relevant the cloud will be in the future (very!). The information about platform as a service was new to me (i had only heard of SAS and hardware as a service).

In my opinion the highlight of the session was the last part on making yourself as a developer ready for the cloud. It defined a clear mindset you can take away when starting new projects event if you aren't producing sites that requires 8 images to operate (yet!).

I struggled to see the code examples from the back of the room.
