Nice walk down memory lane. And every developer should be aware of such algorythms especially since they've been around like forever.
Perhaps next time other algorythms than sorting?
In general good, but I would like to have more visual examples. And maybe not just 'this is good', 'this is bad', but take bad and show how you would change it (to ilustrate how couple small changes can have dramatic effect on usability).
Good talk and overview all most used things in regex world. Learned some things.
Annotations well explained, and sorry I have no new jokes for you.
The way subject was presented was very good. Rowan is very good speaker. However somehow at the end I missed main message for this talk. If main idea was to remind everyone what IT studens learn in their first year, then thats fine. But other than that... dont know. Dont get me wrong - I liked this session, but I guess I was looking for something more detailed or complex...
Great informative talk. One tiny comment: the workshop part wasn't really a workshop as it could have been.
Excellent wake-up call for those who haven't been concerned so far about password security.
