Great talk, was a bit boring in the middle, but I can understand it's not an easy thing to present in a fun way :) would enjoy attending again!
Nice insights on how we're thinking and how to catch yourself thinking in a wrong way.
As always, Matthias has a way of delivering high level content in a way that everybody can understand! Such a clear and easy to follow guide to what Hexagonal Architecture is. Amazing how simple it is once Matthias has explained it.
Great talk on a very difficult subject! Really enjoyed the (high) level of humor, and the connections with our day-to-day lives as developers. I can clearly recognize the different types of thinking and agree that it's important to realize what your brain is doing at certain times.
I think the content could be improved by having more examples or ties to our regular lives, and the presentation could be improved by less falling back to your screen/notes.
Like most, this was totally _not_ what I expected. I strongly suggest to change the title, and have the description mention Baleen. I usually keep away from these "product talks" as I'm not looking for that kind of info/inspiration at conferences. This negative (or at least not positive) first impression really hurts the talk.
I do think Baleen looks promising and hope that developers will start picking it up. I also found it well presented and it shows Gabriel really stands by everything he said.
Nice explanation of what circuit breakers are, and nice example of how to solve the performance issues that come with that many circuit breakers in place. I think when this is more prepared, has some slides, some more explanation on the architecture that lead to the need of so many circuit breakers and a bit more relaxed presentation, this could be a great technical talk!
I'm not at all into streaming or any other kind of camera/video stuff, but I liked how it's actually pretty easy to set this kind of thing up. It was a well presented talk. I liked the touch of live-streaming during the talk.
Very inspirational message. I can really relate to making yourself a better person will lead you to be better at your job, whatever that job may be. I did feel the talk could be a bit more structured, a bit more fluent going from one "trick" to the next.
Great talk with a great message. I very much like the "10 commandments" of keeping your code simple, easy to understand, structured and future-proof.
The talk itself wasn't bad, maybe a bit too "american" for my taste. But it wasn't great either: The subject is one that's kind of a theme among keynotes the last year (or 2), and kind of plainly presented if I compare it to others. Though I fully agree with the message, I wasn't as inspired as I think I should have been.
