Talk comments

Volker looked at the phpcs and phpmd tools as well as the PSR standards and talked about what the standards mean and what bits of them are important. It was all delivered with humour and clear experience of really trying to understand and actually work with these standards. Really good talk.

A good collection of news items, anecdotes, problems and attack vectors, but with only a few non-committal conclusions near to the end. Unless the point was that there was no solutions or funding available? Needed a little more focus on the solutions rather than the problems, but quite a good talk.

Cart illustration was ideal.
Clear explanations of pros / cons.
Interesting and enjoyable.

Amazing way to start of the conference despite the location not offering a room big enough for everyone.

I really enjoyed it :)

The advices that where given didn't really tell a story or lead up to something and a couple of the points didn't connect with me but overall it was really good fun.

Thank you both for taking the time to prepare thing as complicated as this to enable PHPNW to stay at this awesome location

Great fun and a good chunk of very applicable points even for people working mainly with PHP.

A good and very basic introduction into Vagrant. At times it felt like someone was reading out a tutorial to me but content wise everything was fine.

It's hard to avoid but it seems that every vagrant introduction talk suffers from this "let's talk about Chef AND Puppet instead of focusing on the process and why it's important to define everything" syndrome.

The content was very solid and presented well.

Very solid presentation. No stupid mistakes.

I was very found of explaining the concept using different (non wiki-copy-paste CS) introductions to the subjects and that helped a lot in keeping me interested.

The code samples where a bit rough but I know how incredibly hard it is to make a quickly explained coherent sample and the only reason it stood out was because the rest of the talk was so fluent.

It was grasp!

Very well paced and fun talk with incredibly solid slides, especially for an uncon.

The content was great and did focus on telling a personal tale instead of felling like someone is reading a migration guide aloud.

Apart from the fact that the speakers dinner clashed with the hackathon and that the room was quite small everything was well done.

The speaker definitely was very skilled and the topic was very important. It was the best talk on the conference (MPO).

Anyway, at some point it was difficult to keep up with the slides, he was talking really fast.
