It must have taken a lot of courage for skoop to talk openly about some of his personal struggles with mental health. It made me think about not only my own coffee into code situations but also looking out for others that appear to need help. The talk was made whole by michelangelo's comments / heckling.
A strong message and purpose and a perfect closing keynote.
I currently use Gearman & Supervisor quite heavily and this talk opened my eyes to other options. It also made me think about making my current workers more maintainable and more full featured.
Well delivered and good content
A really good talk and thank you for sharing. It mixed humour and poignancy very appropriately for delivery of a talk topic that has touched many people in the room either through their own experiences or the experiences of those around them (friends, family and colleagues) and I hope this talk will encourage people in the future to ask for help when they need it.
I only wish I could give you five stars, and then give another five star rating to Michelangelo for his heckling.
Well presented with excellent content. Rob basically delivered a 2FA 101 and showed how simple it was to implement in a number of different ways.
I took a lot away from this talk. Cheers Rob.
Well presented with an important message to all.
The code examples were fairly hard to follow although I followed the principals fairly well.
It did not help that the room was extremely hot and that the microphone was only for the benefit of the cameras.
I really liked the focus on the background of the proposal giving a firm foundation of why things are as they are. Very humorous and overall a good talk.
I will look more into React.js following this talk. Live coding just added to the excitement and introduced an impromptu pair programming section.
A good introduction to HTTP 2.0. As another commenter mentioned sometimes it was unclear if you were talking 1.1 or 2.0 and it seemed to switch about a bit. Other than that it was well delivered and informative.
