Well presented with a great blend of humor and information.

Great talk that helped put names to the practices that I was doing before I knew that it was the "right" way simply because things like Dependency Injection felt right.

Perhaps one of the most "oh wow, I want to build that" talks at php[tek]. Informative, well-presented, and inspiring.

Where I can get all the regexp used to detect code that will cause issues with PHP 7? I saw them in your talk, but they are missing on provided slides.

Very useful information that I will start using right away. I like that security topics other than the usual SQL Injection and CSS were covered.

As someone who's been thrown into the deep end of dependency injection thanks to is inclusion in Magento 2, I really appreciated this great look not only at DI itself, but also dependency inversion and how to use DI in an intelligent manner to improve the design of our code. Love it!

Great update for the PHP community on the problems that Magento sees in Magento 1 and the way those problems are being solved in Magento 2. Sets a great foundation, I think, for further discussions of Magento 2 at conferences this summer and fall. As always, the personal examples and honesty made the talk much more approachable and enjoyable!

Too often developers and even conference organizers think that the way to become the best developer possible is to focus entirely on programming skills to the exclusion of all other skills. That approach is literally killing us - it's killing individual developers, it's harming our industry, it's no good. I really appreciated the way Samantha walked us through personal examples from her own experiences - some of which had to be challenging to share to a room full of developers. Lots of great lessons to make each of us better teammates and developers.
