practical and to the point

Nice step-through and guided steps on improving existing codebases with recommendations on specific weird/heavy cases. Paul is very knowledgeable of the process of this cleanup and the common pitfalls and shortcuts that developers look for and why they should be avoided.

I have always appreciated how Paul explains without reading off his slides.

Nice intro to PHP's component ecosystem and composing a custom framework from them.

This is a keynote level talk. Amazing. Wonderful. Loved every minute.

Interesting talk, and Jam is obviously quite passionate about the material. More discussion of how one can get involved in Open Source, either in development or adoption, would be useful.
