Good talk with an interesting ending that, for me at lest, was unexpected.
Good, clear, consise.
One thing missing (but probably not really in scope of the talk) was how exactly it is more secure than for example SMS, as no detail is given on how to provide it is me holding the USB key in my hands. In that sense, I wonder how banks for example are going to put any trust in this system, compared to the current system of OTP generation using the bankcard + pin.
Interesting as an intro into GraphQL for those who aren't aware of it.
Expected a bit more internal technical details.
Interesting the hear someone else my age explaining to the youngsters how we created the shit they call "legacy code"... ;-)
The workshop was really informative. I felt the pace was good not to fast. The group exercises proved to be really useful to nail down the topics been explained, it enabled me to learn from fellow attendees as well.
It would be really useful if the slides were available.
A really interesting insight into how PHP works. It was fun to change the behaviour of the language, and seems like contributing to PHP is more accessible to me.
I think it wasn't that clear that we should have already compiled PHP, so it took everyone a while to get all the dependencies installed. Maybe you could add the list of dependencies to the prerequisites of the workshop?
A great introductin into PHP internals. Alot to take in but good start to allow me to investigate further.
It's always really fun to hear the creator of software you use talking about their software. Looking forward to the new features in v3. I've lost count of the number of times that XDebug has rescued me from debug hell :-)
