An "uncomfortable" talk as the presenter gives (valid) opinions about our code and what we usually do wrong. I liked the introduction of defensive driving at the very beginning as it gave a real-world, non-programming parallel to the advices Marco gave in his talk.
The time slot for this talk was too long, I have a feeling everything was said in the first 10-15 minutes. It was a bit difficult to pay attention and follow along after that.
Nice intro talk to DI, covered pretty much all about the topic. Liked the examples how it was done in the past, the downsides of it, and how it should be done. Advices from the presenter's real-life work were an added bonus!
Great communication with the audience during the talk.
Great talk, got some new ideas how to improve my code, some new things to try out.
Would like to hear about handling some "edge" cases when the line between layers is not that clear, e.g. using templates in emails whose sending is being triggered by the service layer.
Damn, this elf wizard is awesome!
I think this was the best talk of the conference for me as I took away the most from it at the end of the day. Nice flow of the talk, great examples and Brandon was really confident on the stage.
