I'd like to have more information why AOP has been used and the key concepts of AOP. In my opinion, the talk has been very linear. I'm not aware of the aspects I really should remember.

I can't really put myself to rating this a 1 thumb up "because I've seen it before" ;)

still an excellent talk. good overview of new features, good messages to get across to people on technology, community and people.

Thank you for the great talk. Most of the principles I already knew, but this talk freshed up my memory quite well

Good stuff! Got me interested in http://kettle.pentaho.com/ - yes, I know, that was only a side remark on one of the slides, but good for me!

This type of refactoring is hardcore stuff. You have all my respect for doing it!

Even though I might not get in touch with big data in the near future, this talk was really good and gave me an insight of how the big ones (facebook, twitter, etc.) handle big data.
