Great talk on a very specific topic but covering it end-to-end, so that it's easy to pick up now even if you never tried anything of the kind.
Speedy, content-rich, spot-on, covering lots of useful stuff - a great loss for those who were not in the room.

While inevitably somewhat specific to problems Spotify faced, a number of very useful techniques to slowly upgrade a site to a new/better framework were presented.
This will be a useful talk to watch for others with similar problems to watch, and with further in-depth code examples (which are less possible in a talk format) would make an excellent series of tutorials on the subject.
It looks like even Fabien himself is not impressed with v3.0. It was a very hard work to get where it is, but there was no fun in it and that's quite obvious.
If he talked about blackfire, it may have been a lot better, as you could see the fire in his eyes and hear from his voice how hyped he is.
But you have to give it to him - he's a great speaker in general, and well improved the presenting skills (and English pronunciation) over the years
