Nice movement Phil.

One of the more entertaining talks of the day for sure, but very informative. An interesting take on "another framework" being more than "another framework". Great job Phil!

Chris has no issues getting up there and giving it his all, twitter bombs and all! Very enjoyable closing keynote!

Made me think about my inner Grump a bit more. No more compromising and no more letting the tools push me around.

O.

Excellent presentation jam-packed with practical analysis techniques every PHP developer can take advantage of. Covered a large number of topics and techniques but did not feel rushed or lacking in detail. Definitely one of the best sessions of the conference!

Some of the slides made me question humanity! Or maybe just Phil! :P

Funny and informative talk, that actually got me to take a look at a Framework, something that I really don't like doing.

Potato +1!

Had some issues pushing code to Azure from Bitbucket (apparently this has been fixed since.) which put us behind getting our application done. :(

Otherwise it was a lot of fun!

Should have been a few smaller prizes instead of just one big one though! Just being jealous of the fella that won the Xbox! :P

O.

I like how this talk also fit with the Hugo's other talk, to hammer the message "Use existing libraries". Well done.

Enjoyed the talk and discussing a bit more after. Thanks

Really enjoyed this presentation. While you mentioned the local PHP user groups as a way to get practice, there are also organizations you could mention like Toastmasters or Dale Carnegie where the entire focus is to get better at public speaking. All the suggestions on process and preparation are were very helpful.

A lot of truth is said in jest, and that's what this talk is all about. Very fun, this talk is coming right out and pointing everyone in the new direction of "frameworks" in PHP. Frameworks that are based on re-usable, framework agnostic components that can be smashed together using composer.
