Very similar content to "Clean Code: A Handbook of Agile Software Craftsmanship" by Robert C. Martin but adapted to PHP. I enjoyed the presentation.

Excellent content and good presentation, especially for one of your first conference talks. Try to throw in some entertainment (a joke or two) to get the attendees involved. Well done.

Enjoyed this presentation by Mark despite the doom and gloom. Thought there may not be enough time, it may be good to throw in a little bit about how these exploits tend to persist because of old tutorials that teach people how to make SQL queries and process form data in insecure ways from the beginning.

As mentioned by others, a great keynote that started about 15 minutes late. The idea that PHP gives out more lottery tickets is a good one. It could also be tied to how YouTube has given out more lottery tickets for video production and the democratization of winners such as Gangnam Style.

Great intro to LESS - I will definitely be using it on my next project.
Just one content issue, on the slide related to excessive specification of rules (ul/li etc.), which I brought up during questions...

Enjoyed the theme of this and other talks: check out what other languages/platforms have to offer, and don't be hemmed in by fear or doctrine!

Lots of great food for thought here, and very well presented. On the drive home we tried to recite the expansions of STUPID and SOLID - only got about half way through, but will be checking it out until we get it right!

Another great talk; very interesting topic.

Excellent talk on a subject that I hear a lot about, but have not necessarily seen the whole point of before. Very effective presentation style. The self-documenting links idea is a gem, and I will be looking to incorporate this in future; I see particular relevance of the whole thing for mobile apps...

Very engaging presentation, no reading out of bullets here - I arrived too late to get a seat, and can see why the room was full...
