I thought the presentation was done very well. Will the speaker post the slideshow up? There were some links/material I was hoping to get a second peek at.

Great content, and slide design. I appreciated the writing resource recommendations towards the end of the talk.

Live demos are really hard to pull off. I personally avoid them unless I know I can execute them without errors.

Fantastic talk by a wonderfully engaged speaker! Content definitely applies far beyond the OSS community, too.

I'm a sucker for anything related to the brain and neuroscience, so seeing these topics discussed in relation to open source software development I knew this was a must-see talk for me. And Liz did not disappoint. The talk was engaging, entertaining and well-researched.

I think the mentoring advice included in this talk was really valuable, and very much appreciate the positive and inclusive tone as well as the very approachable call to action.

While the speaker seemed impressively comfortable delivering the talk, there were times when I had a difficult time hearing them.

There were also a few points where I found the slides distracting because the talk seemed to have moved well past the topic highlighted by the slide on display.

really enjoyed the overview. elizabeth is an expert speaker, seems passionate about this important topic, and the slides were both really well done and really helped the speaker convey a lot of information in the finite time allotted. Looking forward to the next talk in this series ;)

love hearing about an interesting project from the creator, and bernhard delivered the content well. enjoyed the talk and looking forward to experimenting with the project.

enjoyed the talk, found the examples clear and easy to follow, and the overall content left me feeling enthusiastic about trying out this tool with future projects.
