I enjoyed the presentation and the attitude of the speaker. I really found it amusing. It brought back the memories from wc 2014, ansible talk and "what the f** is juju?!" response to audience question. Epic.
On a side note, consider using API throttling as standard method for avoiding "barcode-hitting-f5-continuously" DDoS attack. :P
I really expected more from this talk, but also the subject needed much more time.
Really inspiring talk and topic. I liked that you made an effort to advocate against complexity often introduced way to early into systems (e.g. your little rant about microservices, the fact that your're using postgresql as message queue, etc)
Kinda felt like the point of talk was that women should be treated differently because in order to make them feel equal, you should watch your mouth and behaviour around them.
But hey, it gave us a good office punchline, we all react to stuff with: that's disgusting! :)
This talk had almost no connection to the subject it promised. it was basic and pointless.
Equality, justice and fairness in all things is truly a worthy goal and the author of this talk attempted to explore an issue which is in one way or another observed and/or exeprienced by both genders throughout the history in different regions and cultures.
The author had a lot of negativity bias in his research and life experiences which was observed in various points made in the talk and for me, made this keynote talk really depressing.
Every AI eventually will want to hurt us :D Great talk, views and even some deep questions from the audience :)
Excellent talk!
Great presentation from a witty and quick thinking presenter. Loved the fact that he addressed the absurdity of fears and claims made by "best and brightest" in the industry.
