Got a nice reading list :)
It was a bit too fast for my level of understanding parser combinators.
Practically complete explanation of what happens behind modern python async/await, including historical progression.
It was adequately paced and there was no wasting of time.
In longer (maybe workshop?) format I'd like to have seen examples of the event loops themselves and some discussion on OS-level async interfaces.
Nothing to add!
Very recognizable, sadly :-P Nice to hear from the other angle (we only *get* handovers) and I wholeheartedly agree.
Good content presented well. Very relevant subject for any developer!
Justifiably in the advanced track - it's clear Evadne grasps some really complex topics. I could not always follow along, but I am neither a frond-end nor an Elixir dev so I am not going to take points away for that. Perhaps pacing yourself at times would help people like me stay with you, but then again you don't want the pace too slow for the actual audience to get bored.
Large parts of the presentation were live and the mastery of the machine and the tech was a sight to behold.
Excellent speaker made an interesting but complex subject quite understandable. As I am not an ops person, and I felt like I could follow along, you have my personal permission to up the complexity another notch. Never once felt the urge to check my phone!
Great content and very well presented. I especially enjoyed that it was personally relevant to the speaker. The choice to put this keynote first was good too, because it provides a very relevant mindset to attend a conference with.
Was very informative.
I would have loved to hear more in an expanded session.
