Lots and lots of information that could have been really confusing was delivered in an clear, concise manner. I learned tons and have a lot of new tools to take home with me.

Great talk. Lots of new info delivered in an understandable way in a short amount of time. I learned a lot.
time/date manipulation is and will remain a struggle for most developers, but with the help and support from Derick's talk and book, life doesn't look too much like a struggle.
