Not only did Alan address performance issues that we also had with our application, after the class he assisted us on finding and correcting problems which dramatically increased the speed of our application by 95% This was something you don't see at most conferences. Alan is an asset to IBM, Zend and ZendCon. Thank you again Alan.

Learned not only about the exam, but learned quite a bit about the operation of ZF2 at the same time. Well delivered, quite personable.

As always Alan was very knowledgable and timely in his discussion. Great topic for newbies attending the conference.

Fantastic and engaging speaker. Great knowledge provided!

Very practical stuff to use immediately in my development. Excellent Talk. Very enjoyable presentation style. Excellent Talk.

Excellent presentation. I was able to complete and pass the ZCE exam in half the time allotted because of the information imparted during this 2-part session.
Christian presented the material in detail and with helpful examples.

I really liked how the main points were covered in the morning, and the afternoon was more of a scattergun approach to try and hit some of the smaller things that may be asked. It was a lot of information about a lot of different things.

Talk was great! Christian really kept things interesting. Good ratio of talking to sample questions. Kept on time very well.

Very cool bit of technology you guys have created. I'm excited to try it out and see about potentially re-introducing ZS into our stack.

Could easily listen to Lorna talk all day about anything, really. Absolutely knows her stuff when it comes to git and even as a daily user of git, was able to pick up some absolute gems that I will put to use immediately.

However, as stated in other reviews this was marked as an Advanced Git Skills course and was decidedly not advanced so as to keep the non-advanced users in the loop of the goings ons of the examples.

To make up for this, Lorna put up her website at the end which walks users through the more advanced features that she unfortunately had to skim over in the talk.

Would have loved to see more information on pruning merged branches, but this may be covered on the above-referenced website.
