Though a very interesting topic and the fact that I have some background in pattern recognition, I could hardly follow the talk in several points.
Nice, fast-paced, interactive talk, exploring various ways of how the brain works with sleep/energy/time management and so on. Good stuff.
Good presentation, the code was hardly seeable when displayef on a dark background (slides and editor)
A useful introduction to redis. The talk had a good problem and use case from the beginning that was solved by the end.
The only thing I can suggest is to make the text larger on one of the earlier slides (it was in a small, calligraphic style of font and was hard to read), and I think the large bit of code could've used comments or arrows to point out what was going on at a high level.
Please do a talk on caching strategies! :-)
Though I don't care very much about front-end, it was a VERY interesting talk. Concepts were explained very well and some very good guidelines were given.
Good material and feedback from James, but a lot of time wasted at the beggining wating for some people to install the RabbitMQ. It wouldn't be an issue but the result was not to have enough time for hands-on. Maybe more detailed instructions on how to set up the RabbitMQ serverhad to be sent in advance.
Great talk! Passing the message in a very entertaining way.
Very nice intro! I haven't used MongoDB but you made it look simple.
I had a horrible experiance with another talk. But yours really workes well. Thank you!
Great talk, helped me a lot, my tests are taking like few minutes to run, so it was good info, i`ll apply and check results
