I appreciated this insight into how some things are being done. This is a whole series of things in which I'm unfamiliar, and for that reason it was hard for me to keep track of it all, but I don't think that was an issue with the talk.
I liked this talk a lot, probably mostly because I find websockets very interesting. I wish this tech was more applicable. There's a few really good use cases, but not enough for this to get bigger than a small niche.
I really liked this talk. He clearly ran out of time, though, and had to rush greatly the last part of the talk. I found it to be a very interesting topic and worth considering as a direction.
This talk only lost a star because it was the only talk so far that cost me extra money. ;)
Good informative talk about an issue that I would agree seems to something particularly important for our industry.
The talk was insightful. Mark did a good job in making all of us understand how the framework is evolving, what things are to be deprecated, the upgrade process, etc. I had attended your session in Amsterdam as well. My only suggestion is to include an appeal/motivational slide to more contributors in your "framework future" type talks :) Otherwise a fantastic job!
This talk changes your perception on people and really is a must to listen to Sharon, changes the way you think about people and realise we all have our own little journey we are on that life is not always full of roses and that we need to realise we are all in different stages in our lives and we all need to understand that. amazing talk
I like when talks cover some of the human aspects of development. I think there was some good points made. I especially agree with the concept of keeping code readable. I'm not sure I 100% agree with the proposed solution idea, but that could be because I don't have enough experience and comfort with that style of coding. But in general, I think then emphasis on readable code is very important.
Mark is clearly amazing, but his pace is way too much for me. I could only hope to absorb a small part of what was going on. It was somewhat easier to me to follow on day two, but I could have still used more structure and a slower pace.
I appreciated this step-by-step walk-through of a example app. This was a good pace for me lacking in CakePHP 3 experience.
I found this talk really informative and fascinating, even though it was also somewhat depressing at times for me because of my personal situation with a huge 2.x app.
