Nice presentation. While the presented library doesn't cover my use cases, it has the benefit to be useful for a good range of cases and is backed by a company having this need. Thanks for open sourcing it and the presentation was well done.
Great talk! Could you post the slides? Thx!
Mind. Blown. So much food for thought. Whether it interests you or not, the topics Ross talked about affect us all. Excellent combination of show and insights.
Great and insightful talk. However, I'm not convinced refactoring the old system was given a serious try, although I of course don't know all the ins and outs. Refactoring 200k - 300k lines isn't impossible, it can be done by the right people using the right approach and techniques with management buy in.
Great talk, inspiring for a graph novice as myself, can't wait to get started.
I agree with Dennis and Colin. Nonetheless, well brought!
Great talk, unfortunately I found out too late it was targeted at junior developers. Nonetheless, we'll brought!
I agree with osman.
Nice talk and brought with good humor and at a nice pace. The talk is very opinionated so it should be taken with a grain of salt. Maybe leave some extra room for questions so they can be answered with more insight.
Very good presentation and performance problems mentioned are those we encounter on daily basis with DIC's. Suggestion on using multi kernels is proven by my experience a very nice workaround.
Might be worth to mention the Tideways blog post about DIC performance especially with event listeners in one of the slides.
Thanks for your talk.
