Great insight into a real world problem and the attempts to solve it.
No need to be so nervous, you know your stuff and you are capable of delivering your talk.
Loved the history of ciphers and how some of them were compromised.
However, I missed some more insight in which are supported in (vanilla) PHP today and which are trustworthy.
Nice introduction into graph querying, Neo4J and it's PHP adapter Reco4PHP.
Not a bad presentation at all but I am unsure on who your target audience was supposed to be. I suspect that those who work in symfony will probably know most features you talked about, and those that don't may not have been following you through the entire talk.
If you wanted to focus more on the intermediate usage of DI you could try and decouple from symfony a bit more.
Good talk on a very cool library. There are probably some interesting use-cases which could have been used to give the talk a bit more substance.
Great talk on an interesting topic. It gave us both a quick overview of what is possible with thrift and how such an architecture could work. For a more in depth talk the alternatives could be expanded on. I would have liked to see some more insight into the differences between the different libraries as they seem very similar.
Enthusiastic speaker. Great and detailed examples on the problems you attempted to solve.
I would have expected to see some more insight into the fundamental statistics involved. Some significant choices the speaker made in the data-prep phase can be controversial if done without any explanation, and an audience question afterwards reflected that.
Excellent talk, very well polished, informational, intriguing, and going out with a bang. We nailed "Never stop learning" to our developer whiteboard. ;)
This talk offers good insight about how event sourcing fits typical use cases in game development. I think the balance between high level overview and diving into practical examples was good within the constraints of a 45 minute talk. Well presented by an experienced speaker.
Also reminded me about the attractions of game development, working in a world of business software. Felt like a relaxing break after already two days of information overload. :)
Always good to stay critical on how we are used to organize our code and look for improvements in areas considered 'the last places to look'.
Little tip: Be careful not to repeat yourself (too much) to get a point across. But that's your enthusiasm I guess. :-)
