I like the presentation even if it sounds not applicable for everything. The good part is "despite of talking about who wins in the templating/js/angular war, let's talk about a real use case"
As an example of migration it was very good. Less as a real implementation of Node.js app
As a real world example it gives me a good point of view on BDD and testing. BDD exists also apart from Cucumber
