I started to drift toward the end for the reasons Brian already mentioned, but overall a good talk. Slides were poor quality, though what I could make of the content, they were good.
This was a good introduction to Backbone.JS and the SLIM framework. Examples were fairly clear and illustrated the speakers points well.
Thanks a bunch, you convinced me to play with slim and backbone for my side project.
I am not sure I understood why one would use a micro framework for the PHP side, but a full framework for the JavaScript side.
Great talk. Will be taking a look at our in-house APIs to see how we can implement some of these ideas.
Excellent talk. Ended up rushing a bit at the end, but the details on XHProf made it worthwhile.
I think the talk had a lot of potential, but I had a hard time following the presenters speech. It jumped around, introduced internal topics without lead-in or follow up information. Topic was fine, just needed more organization and goals.
Good to see a common problem broken into a step by step process. Provides a means to begin tackling the refactoring process that any career PHP developer will encounter.
A little too much time spent going thru code, but overall good info.
