Funny talk - Grumpy is quite into the unit testing and enjoyed seeing testing tools other then just "use phpunit"

This was a great talk/keynote. This is my first conference, and Cal's talk was the perfect way for it to begin. It was motivating, energizing, entertaining, and the perfect preparation for the conference ahead.

It's always fun to watch Chris talk. This is an informative talk and Chris is good at presenting the information in an entertaining way.

Wish more people would take Cal's advice and give back! We don't want your money (unless you can fund a core dev) - we want time and docs and code and and and ... nice to see people pushing for involvement as payment for open source

Cal does a great job of getting you fired up to contribute to the community.

The context of the "request" (spinning up virtual guests) was not as clear up-front. However, tying the distributed coordination back to locking helped to clear up some of the confusion of some of the request / coordination problem. The discussion at the end of the presentation and providing more examples of specific software coordination helped to make this more relevant.

Logan: be more engaging. The content you are presenting is interesting, but the way you were presenting it was not.

Provided a good overview of using Zookeeper in a cloud environment. I definitely plan on taking a look at this in more detail. Thanks!

Good overview. Code slides could have used some contrast.

The only criticism that I have is that the code slides were in a very small font. Otherwise, great talk!

I have done PHP C/C++ extensions in years past, and I attended this talk to see how much had changed, it was a great talk. It actually explained a lot of things I had just done by rote without understanding.

Content is/was outside of my wheelhouse so can't speak to it specifically, but that is why I attended the session. Good presentation style and slides.
