I’ve run across similar structure & organization a decade ago in a company’s own homegrown framework (in the days before namespaces) so it’s an idea I’ve thought about a lot since then. It’s really great to have it crystalized more clearly than I’ve ever thought of it before.

Really led me to reflect a lot on my attitude and relationship with my work and the software I ~~create~~ steward.

It’s a bummer that Rain injured themself, as I imagine the dance would have really tied the talk together.

As far as content, I really loved the analogies, but the talk may have benefited from some concrete examples early-on to give the audience a place to anchor.

Really good content and topic. I think some of your slides were a little text dense and could be summarized further. Just show the bullet points and then say the details out loud.

Really fantastic content. This is a topic I’ve done a lot of work on in the last year and the greater level of detail is super valuable.

Worth hearing but obviously felt like a vendor pitch

Big fan of seeing the interplay between two current philosophies of development and software management. Concise, well-argued, approachable.

Love the metaphor, made it very easy to comprehend. My only request would be, as someone who’s not well-versed in distributed systems, is where I could go for next steps!

Couldn’t tell if I was more impressed by the presentation or the code under discussion. I had four questions pop up during the talk, and all of them were answered in due course. Fantastic!
